Japanese Work Vehicles - Get More Done
Direct access to quality Japanese commercial vehicles, transparent pricing, and a simple, guided buying process from start to finish.
We specialize in kei trucks, vans, utility vehicles, campers, and other practical Japanese vehicles that help people work, build, transport, and grow.
Our goal:
Help people find capable, affordable vehicles that serve well as tools for their business, projects, and recreation.
Our Process
Step 1: Tell Us What You’re Looking For
Let us know your budget, intended use, preferred vehicle, and destination port.
Step 2: Vehicle Search
We set up a call, search upcoming auctions and provide options that fit your goals and requirements.
Step 4: Purchase
Once you’ve selected a vehicle, we arrange for a deposit and bid on your chosen vehicle. When we win a car under your budget, we bring it to our shop for a pre-export inspection and cleaning.
Step 4: Inspection & Review
We share photos, videos, and discuss any known issues. We provide options for replacing any needed parts such as belts, tires, or anything else that is difficult to find stateside.
Step 5: Export & Shipping
We prepare all the export documentation, coordinate shipping and provide updates throughout the process. We are not Amazon! It can sometimes take a few months to find space on an affordable ship.
Step 6: Delivery
Your vehicle arrives to your closest RoRo or container port, ready for import and registration. We can connect you with an experienced import broker, or you can bring your own.
Realistic Expectations
Most of the vehicles we sell are 25–35 years old.
Older vehicles require maintenance.
Electrical components fail.
Rust can develop.
Unexpected repairs can happen.
Anyone promising otherwise is not being honest.
We make reasonable efforts to improve every vehicle before export, but we cannot guarantee perfection.
If you’re seeking a quick, warranty-backed ownership experience, a local dealership is often a good choice.
We are not a same day delivery service. Your car might not even arrive within the first 3-4 weeks after purchase. We send cars as soon as they are ready and we can secure a booking, but we do not rush service or cleaning just to speed up a sale's completion.
If you’re looking for a practical and affordable import vehicle that can help support your business, property, projects, or recreation—and you value transparency—we may be a fit.
We never hide known issues.
We never describe a vehicle as perfect when it isn’t.
We never pressure you into a purchase.
We always communicate honestly and professionally.
We will focus on helping you find the vehicle that best supports your goals—not the one with the most hype.
Our reputation is worth more than a single sale.
Why We Inspect Vehicles in Person
Importing a vehicle is a major investment.
A truck that sells for $1,000 at auction in Japan may ultimately cost at least twice that amount once ocean freight, customs clearance, import duties, registration, transportation, and other expenses are added.
Unfortunately, not every vehicle sold at auction is ready for the road. We have seen buyers purchase vehicles with hidden mechanical issues, accident repairs, corrosion, and other problems that were difficult to identify from auction sheets alone.
That’s why we attend auctions in person and inspect vehicles ourselves whenever possible.
Our goal is not to guarantee perfection. Any used vehicle can have issues that are impossible to detect during a brief auction inspection. What we can do is significantly reduce the risk by checking vehicles firsthand before you commit to the thousands of dollars required to ship and import them.
If we discover a problem before export, we can often source parts, arrange repairs, or simply walk away from the vehicle and find a better option.
In the rare event that an issue is discovered after purchase, we work to find practical solutions while the vehicle is still in Japan, where parts, expertise, and repair options are often more accessible and affordable. If the vehicle no longer makes financial sense to export, we can also assist with reselling it locally whenever possible.
Our business is built on helping customers avoid costly surprises—not just buying vehicles.
We believe the best import experience starts with careful inspection, honest communication, and making informed decisions before a vehicle ever reaches the port.
Our location in Kyushu gives us another advantage.
Unlike northern Japan, Kyushu receives very little snow. That means many vehicles spend their lives without exposure to the road salt that causes severe underside corrosion.
While every vehicle is different and must be inspected individually, we generally see less rust than vehicles from Japan’s snowbelt regions.
Being based far from major export hubs such as Tokyo and Kobe also helps. Large export companies often compete aggressively for inventory in those markets, driving prices higher.
By sourcing throughout Kyushu and western Japan, we can often find quality vehicles that receive less attention from large-volume exporters.
Our goal isn’t to buy the most vehicles.
It’s to find the right vehicles.
Every week we’re searching auctions, inspecting inventory, and looking for the cars and trucks that we would be proud to own ourselves. That hands-on approach is one of the reasons customers choose Keizoku.
